Description

@heymage

What happened?

Expected

A signed commit with 1Password is created, the same as with git commit on the command line or in VS Code.

Actual

Steps to reproduce

  • macOS 27.0.1
  • 1Password 8.12.38 (SSH agent + Git commit signing enabled)
  • git 2.54.0 (Apple Git-157)

Git config (~/.gitconfig)

    signingkey = ssh-ed25519 AAAAC3Nza... # literal public key, as set up by 1Password
[gpg]
    format = ssh
[gpg "ssh"]
    program = /Applications/1Password.app/Contents/MacOS/op-ssh-sign
[commit]
    gpgsign = true
