Chaos-overlay is my pet project, and really, it's just a by-product of me using gentoo. I shove up any fixes or ebuilds I make to here, so people can use them if need be. Keep in mind that this is my personal overlay; yes, I use everything here, not just package it.

The types of things you'll find here:

• Quick patches to fix something that broke in portage, and will submit a patch for
• Unstable versions that aren't in portage for one reason or another
• Ebuilds from other overlays that have had fixes applied because they broken/badly made
• Version increments before portage adds them. Which I'll start submitting upstream.
• Versions of software with patches applied for specific things.

You should ALWAYS use the master branch. The unstable branch is for when I'm testing ebuilds which may or may not work, and I don't want to affect master. Don't use unstable.
