Discovering RAF-Files

Using latest photorec, great work , thank you.
Following problem:
i try to recover RAF (Fuji RAW) files on a raw disk, no system.
Photorec finds them by the magic word

FUJIFILMCCD

But then buidl files for example wigh 4GB and more.
So i took a view and i see in this files many og the magic word with following headers like Date / Time of exposure.

I wonder why it is not recognized as a new picture ?

Would changing geometry do the job ?

The block size is probably wrong or you are trying to recover data from whole disk instead of working partition by partition.
Try PhotoRec, Options, enable Expert mode, start the recovery, use a blocksize of 4096 bytes, use the default options otherwise.

I would like to search partition for partition.

photorec discovers the start, but it does not recognize the next image.
what blocksize is default used ?
i found out that new image starts somewhere at a 8kb block.

The fact is, it was a ntfs partition, but i made a mistake and writed 30GB from a raspberry pi card to the harddrive.
So i had to choose whole disk.

Meanwhile i made a special programm that searches whole drive 8kb by 8kb inspired by your raf-detection and that worked with a little help from gemini KI. this seems also to work for my lost cr2 files. thnx again.
