Possible to add offset?

In sites with fixed navbar, it needs an offset option to get the headers out from under the nav. How would one do that?

Great use case! It's as simple as subtracting the additional pixel amount from the endLocation variable. So if your header was 20px tall, you'd do this:

var endLocation = anchor.offsetTop - 20;

This question had me toying with adding an offset as an optional data-* attribute, but then you'd need to add it to every single anchor link, which is a bit of pain. You're better off changing it once in the script itself.

It almost certainly is. Boostrap's JS doesn't always play well with others. You might try using the jQuery version of the script instead.

Smooth Scroll now includes an offset value that can be run on init, or overridden on a link-by-link basis.
