Is it possible to dim the screen whilst the sound is playing? I'd like to have it play whilst we fall asleep but it is far too bright to leave on in the bedroom...

I don't know if this is still useful for you, but I updated the source in my pull request to include this feature. By default the screen will be dimmed in 1 minutes, but this is configurable from settings.

Is there a way to use Kodi's own screen dimming / power management? That would be better than implementing your own per plugin. Also I think it should be off by default.

I looked into Kodi's API to do it the clean way, but I didn't find anything that is accessible from plugin side. Making it disabled by default is fairly easy, so I'll do that as well. ;)
