OSC - send strings

I would really like to drive an X32 with midimonster - I can send controls fine and that works, but to have any feedback from the X32 I need to send an /xremote and /subscribe commands every 10 seconds. Both are strings.

Currently the OSC backend has no support for strings - would it be easy to add?
