Software: Ubuntu 22.04, Conda, JDK 21, Maven 3.9.9
Hardware: Dell g5 5587, core i7 8th gen, 16 GB RAM, 1050ti 4GB VRAM
It all worked but I had two errors on the first run:
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.SecurityException: Invalid signature file digest for Manifest main attributesI had to remove the signature from
target/anserini-0.38.1-SNAPSHOT-fatjar.jarfileThe maximum memory allocation pool parameter
Xmxwas set to 64GB though it was mentioned in the docs that >8 GB is needed. Therefore, I had to set it to 8GB.
