### Paths on Windows

On Windows, functions that return paths will return `\`-separated paths. When
not using PowerShell or `cmd.exe` these paths should be quoted to prevent the
`\`s from being intepreted as character escapes:

ls:
echo '{{absolute_path(".")}}'
```
