This PR is ready for review and merge. I think it will be helpful with review of a few recent proposals, as I'd noted on the 2025-12-02 OCs call. While this PR handles the Time proposal, hypothesis modeling and the Roles discussion logged in #155 would also benefit significantly from the extra testing abilities. |

This PR is built on top of PR #146 initially. Review of the PR for merging should take into consideration impact on the project release flow.
