Linux Mint: java.lang.NullPointerException

If I select my MidiMix as output in your extension, I get a "java.lang.NullPointerException" popup. I can Restart, the popup stays. Or Disable, than it gets greyed out. I use Linux Mint, my Midi-keyboard gets recognized fine.

That was easier said than done! It seems my Ubuntu 24.10 VM installation is completely borked. I'm downloading a fresh ISO. I'll keep you posted...

Hello again! Sorry for the delay in getting this sorted. It's actually prompted me to do what I should have done ages ago, and install Linux on a spare computer. I have done this now and should be able to fix this tomorrow. It's now gone midnight, here in London, and I'm too old to pull all-nighters, any more 😉

Wow, thanks for the fast support! The Mute buttons light up now for the first time (great!) but they still don't work. Nothing changes if I press them, neither the solo-option. The send-knobs and gain-faders work as expected, I use the per folder-setting. But could you add an option to make the gain-faders go up to 0db, not +6db?

Hello again @Senor-S I think I've fixed the button problem, that was introduced in v0.4.4. I need to think a little bit more about how to fix the 0dB suggestion, but it's a idea worthy of further investigation, for sure 🤔

By the way, the lighting of the MUTE buttons follows the Ableton Live way of doing it, whereby a lit button indicates a live track and an unlit button means it is muted.

Good news @Senor-S ! I have added a new version that takes your request of a maximum of 0 dB option much further, and now gives you the ability to set the Minimum and Maximum dB levels for each track and the Master.

Thanks for the idea! I hope you like it. Any suggestions for improvement will, of course be welcome!

I don't know if you noticed, but with 0.5.0, the dB scaling didn't work for the Master track. This has been fixed now.
