Query History with Type-ahead Completion

As a Cardinal user, I want:

1. A history of my queries saved automatically (save how many? saved for how long?)
2. Type ahead results displayed based on my saved query history

Essentially, I want the same functionality when I type in my browser's address bar and it shows matching results from my history.

Saved Queries

As a Cardinal user, I want to save frequently used queries for easy reuse. For example:

infolder:~/Downloads/Foo ext:jpg file:report size:>1GB dm:today

Can be saved and assigned a number or keyword. I can reference the number or keyword via a reserved operator in the query field and don't need to type out the whole query string again.

Thanks for the quick response. What's the logic that determines when a given string in the query field is saved in the history? I did some testing and couldn't quite figure it out.

Hope that we can eventually see a drop-down showing the search history, with type ahead matching, like when typing a web browser address bar. That helps with discoverability and makes it easier to identify and select a saved query.

It's inspired by VSCode searching and Shell. A query is remembered when it's cleared or replaced by something else in search input. Query addition or truncation won't store it into history.
