The CI is expected to fail with this message:

AssertionError: cmd `curl -m 5 -sS [http://training-operator.testing.svc:8080/metrics`](http://training-operator.testing.svc:8080/metrics%60) failed with error `curl: (7) Failed to connect to training-operator.testing.svc port 8080 after 13 ms: Connection refused

but #173 is already taking care of it. I have tested this PR + the changes from #173 and can confirm the tests pass:
