Hi, thanks for sharing the In-Home Device Network Management API proposal. I think the idea is interesting, but the written description is a bit too short for a non-technical audience. A few small suggestions:
- In the API summary, start by describing the user scenarios in simple terms (e.g. parental control, “pause internet”, help users fix slow Wi-Fi), and then link them to the two functions (access control and health check).
- In Technical viability, add 2–3 lines on how this would sit on top of existing ISP home gateways / CPE and diagnostics tools.
- In Commercial viability, give concrete examples of who would use it (3rd-party apps, operator apps) and what value it brings to operators and end users.
With a bit more detail in those sections, the proposal will be much easier to understand and discuss.
