It is already possible to add participants as text, links, and emails (stored as text). Please take a look at the example below in my tasks where I have Assignee, Owner and Reporter associated with tasks.

If you have tried custom tasks and it doesn't meet your requirements, I'm curious to understand what's preventing you from adding participants using the existing features, what you wish worked differently to satisfy your needs?

@renatomen I did this FR #797 (that is somehow a duplicate). The main idea I think is to link this with #796 #752 to reduce friction and eliminate unnecessary mouse clicks.

When the task is created via the following creation window (I don't know how it is called I am new to obsidian and all these stuffs), there is no button to add a participant or (see another post from me) to add an end-time (for a seminar day for instance). You need to save the task, open the note and create the properties. I think it should be easier to either have a button or a list of basic properties from which you choose the property and then you fill a text area. And it should be available on the creation window. But it is possible that I just missed something.

Hi @paulinesimon97 , to open the details directly without needing to save as explained by @essouflenfer , you just need to click/tap on the button indicated below
