MITM not active after 1.5.3 update

After cSploit updated to 1.5.3 ,i have noticed that MITM is not active after i chose " (Your network gateway/router) " i tried several times but nothing happen. It work only if i choose single device connected on the network, but when i choose the router i click on MITM nothing happens. Any ideas what could be, I have tried to return to the previous version ,but cSploit updates to the last one . :(

This issue still persists in 1.5.4.

However, depending on the size of your target network it's not always good to MITM the gateway, if there is lots of traffic your device usually cannot handle it and you will just end up DOS'ing the network.

@DNBkid it happens also to Sessions.

probably relater to UI changed made by @fat-tire recently.

I' ve seen this problem, and AFAIK, if when this happen you go back to the hosts list, select a target (the subnet in this case) and click on the MITM module again it works.

Try it out and let us know if this "workaround" works also for you.

Testing this further on "network/netmask" This is your network subnet mask". MITM is the only module to run.

But on the (Your network gateway / router) there is the usual modules (incl MITM) but nothing happens if you tap MITM here.

However I guess the outcome would be the same. Maybe it would best to remove MITM from the gateway host and just keep it on the network?

Pulgins have a filter that select which target are allowed to use them, this is why you see the RouterPwn on your router and not on targets.

I agree with @sorano about deactivating MITM plugin for the gateway, but I want to understand why it does not work now.

@gainan MITM works on subnets and targets but not on the gateway, I want to known why....
