How long does it take to send the web page?

For me it's from 1s to 5s. But the weird thing is, running the same software on a NodeMCU cuts the load time to 400ms

For me it's around 100-400ms. Could it be a general Wifi connection issue? Or have you placed NodeMCU and ESP in the same location for testing?

Placed in the same location, same software. Could it be the esp boards? Got mine cheap from aliexpress
