United States Course Tutorial "Unreal Engine 5: Characters and Avatars with Ready Player Me"

This repository is the source code of the series of videos that are part of the SERIES CHARACTERS IN UNREAL ENGINE 5, where you will learn to integrate characters/avatars within UNREAL ENGINE 5 using the READY PLAYER ME AVATAR platform.

You need the plugin Ready Player Me for Unreal Engine to run this repo.

Integrating the Ready Player Me SDK into the Unreal project and implementing Animation Retargeting and Animation Blueprint.

In the course, you will learn the following:

  • Create characters and avatars using the Ready Player Me platform
  • Integrating Ready Player Me Avatar into the Unreal project
  • Load the Ready Player Me character/avatar at game runtime
  • Reuse animations using the Animation Retargeting process
  • Implement the Animation Blueprint for the Ready Player Me Character from scratch
