Launch-critical. Found via the download/share gap: 381 downloads day-1, ~0 visible shares. Cause: the auto-selected fable-week default dead-ended anyone without Fable-tagged Jul 1–7 sessions (most Codex/Cursor/Copilot users, and anyone who barely touched Fable that week) — they ran it, hit Enter, saw
No sessions matched, and bailed with no card to post.Fix
When the auto-picked fable-week scope returns zero sessions, fall back to an all-time / all-agents card with a one-line note (
no Fable 5 sessions in Jul 1–7 — here's your all-time card instead.). A card they might post always beats a wall.--model fableis unchanged — it still shows the targeted "no sessions matched" hint (they asked for it specifically).applyScopeflags the auto pick (autoFable); two new tests cover it. 25 tests green.Matters today: the HN post lands on Codex-heavy readers who'd otherwise all hit the dead end. Ships as 0.2.2.
