Brave now also supports Onion-Location, but this doesn’t remove the need to add Alt-SVC support.

Both Brave and Tor still ignore alt-svc and we are going on almost 5 years now, is there a reason this has not been implemented in the browsers?

@micah when I make a request with tor enabled to a cloudflare proxied site with the Cloudflare Onion Service enabled. The browser still has the header alt-svc: h2="cflare2nge4h4yqr3574crrd7k66lil3torzbisz6uciyuzqc2h2ykyd.onion:443"; ma=86400; persist=1 that should not be present when using the cloudflare tor circuit

Try going to https://tor.cloudflare-dns.com
You should see the alt-svc with https://dns4torpnlfs2ifuz2s2yf3fc7rdmsbhm6rw75euj35pac6ap25zgqad.onion
No redirect happens
