Description
I have an SCPH-101 with the later BIOS. I made a FreePSXBoot memory card using a memory card that has a removable SD card. I grabbed the correct file from the github, renamed it 0.MCR and stuck it on. FreePSXBoot loads up how I imagine it's supposed to, then I insert a burned game and try to boot the disc. Here's what it does:
Waiting for CD to become ready & unlocked...
Disc state: unlocked mode 2 + audio
Applied nocash unlock...
Loaded system.cnf from sector 0x17
Fastload locating cdrom:\scus.943.06:1
And there's where it hangs every time. I've tried multiple games and they all hang at the "fastload locating cdrom" part. I've tried burning at 2x, 4x and 8x. I know the .BIN files I'm using are good. They're being burned via ImgBurn. Anyone have any ideas?
