Hello,

I've just updated to Release 1.0 build 1.0.0-15191 (release 3f2eb90a4) and found that Edit > Find and Edit > Replace doesn't work anymore.

Windows 7 Professional SP 1

Have you all tried reloading without extensions (Debug > Reload Without Extensions or Shift + F5) and seeing it is works again? I am running Windows 8.1 and cannot reproduce this issue. It is known a find/replace-related extension is breaking 1.0. By any change do you have that extension installed?

As mentioned in the refferenced issue, I could solve it modifying the quick search extension by adding at line 178:

DummyFindBar.prototype.isClosed = function() { return true; };

For me, it was the 'Quick search' extension.
I hope the extension will be updated, as it is very useful.

Btw, you may not need this extension at all since Brackets has a built-in highlightMatches preference that provides very similar functionality.
