This is a "two-fer", and also may already exist but I was having trouble finding an existing issue if it does exist...
Anyway, Brackets seems to get really cranky when the last project it was working with cannot be found. Also, it always seems to try to load the last project it was working with.
Steps to reproduce:
- Open Brackets, notice it has loaded a "Getting Started" project that I did not ask it to open or save.
- Find the "Getting Started" project folder and delete it (this probably isn't a great idea, seeing as how it's a directory embedded in the Brackets.app package, but someone put it there, soooooo...).
- Open Brackets again; it notifies you that it cannot open the path it had opened last time.
- Notice that it has now opened the (I think) parent-directory that housed the last-loaded project.
What I expect Mk I:
- Open Brackets, notice has loaded the last-opened project.
- I should be able to access Brackets's preferences and disable Brackets from opening whatever it had last-opened. I didn't see a setting for this on the "How to use Brackets page in the Preferences section."
What I expect Mk II:
- Open Brackets, and if it cannot find the last project that it opened, it should just sit there waiting for me to create a new file, or to open an existing one. It should not throw an error about not being able to find the last-opened project.
This is on OSX Yosemite v10.10.1, Brackets Release 1.0 build 1.0.0-15191 (release 3f2eb90a4).
This seems to occur with our without Extensions installed.
