engine: vdf.rs exceeds the 6000-line lint limit and fails pnpm lint #471
Description
src/simlin-engine/src/vdf.rs reached 6,001 lines, one over the 6,000-line limit that scripts/lint-project.sh enforces on Rust source files, so pnpm lint and the pre-commit hook failed on main:
ERROR: src/simlin-engine/src/vdf.rs has 6001 lines (threshold: 6000).
The fix is to move a self-contained piece of vdf.rs into a submodule under src/simlin-engine/src/vdf/.
Current state
vdf.rs is 5,371 lines on main; record-result decoding and other pieces now live in vdf/record_results.rs, vdf/section3.rs, vdf/section5_dims.rs, and vdf/signatures.rs.

Closing: already fixed on main.
src/simlin-engine/src/vdf.rs is 5,371 lines on main, under the 6,000-line limit in scripts/lint-project.sh:74, with code split into src/simlin-engine/src/vdf/{record_results,section3,section5_dims,signatures}.rs.
