In manjaro you should use bottles or bottles-git from AUR.

@mirkobrombin Sorry, the reason i didn't is that i found a similar bug that was supposed to be fixed so i thought it's the same issue, i am running KDE, and using the AppImage as i don't wanna install from AUR is there anyway to use AppImage here?

If you don't want to install it, it makes sense to use the AppImage. Regarding your problem, I think there are some dependencies missing in the recipe.

My initial thought that this issue is similar to #205 , and I think it's not related to appimage itself(I tested on manjaro KDE and its running no issues)

this #231 (comment) is similar to what we see here and considering it using non standard theme (theme don't follow standard), @pushqrdx what theme are you using?

also you could use appimagelauncher {it will help managing appimage} (https://github.com/TheAssassin/AppImageLauncher/releases)

I have the same exact problem

I've tried the solutions above, I now got this message:

sudo update-mime-database $HOME/.local/share/mime
sudo update-desktop-database $HOME/.local/share/applications
sudo update-mime-database /usr/share/mime
sudo gtk-update-icon-cache
[sudo] password for supreme: 

Note that '/home/supreme/.local/share' is not in the search path
set by the XDG_DATA_HOME and XDG_DATA_DIRS
environment variables, so applications may not
be able to find it until you set them. The
directories currently searched are:

- /root/.local/share
- /usr/local/share/
- /usr/share/

I had to use sudo because I was getting permission denied.

sudo gtk-update-icon-cache

are you using kde? the above is for gtk
if so please try rm ~/.cache/icon-cache.kcache and report back if that work .
in addition you could try update-icon-caches /directories/of/icons/you/are/using (you should use sudo if icons you are using in root)
