With a new WSL Ubuntu I had issues with installing the laravel/sail these commands solved the problem
sudo rm -rf vendor
sudo rm composer.lock
sudo composer clear-cache
Installing laravel/sail and mysql if it's not already installed
composer require laravel/sail --dev
sudo apt install mysql-client-core-8.0
Start the Docker containers using Laravel Sail, run the database migrations and seed the database:
./vendor/bin/sail up -d
./vendor/bin/sail artisan migrate
./vendor/bin/sail artisan db:seed
Install the frontend dependencies and build the assets:
npm install
npm run dev
- The Cafeteria App should now be accessible at http://localhost
- The database is accessible with phpmyadmin configuration at http://localhost:8001
