Apache Cassandra 4.0 Beta1 Docker Image

These files are for building Apache Cassandra 4.0 Beta docker containers. With this beta version, there will be no new features or breaking API changes in future Beta or GA builds.

There is no official container images for beta version yet and so do not use in production. This is for testing purposes only

Running the Container

Create a bash script with your chosen CONTAINER NAME and YOUR LOCAL FOLDER as show below:

docker run  --name [CONTAINER NAME] \
   -v [ YOUR LOCAL FOLDER]:/var/lib/cassandra \
   -p 7000:7000 \
   -p 7001:7001 \
   -p 7199:7199 \
   -p 9042:9042 \
   -p 9160:9160 \
   -p 9404:9404 \
   -d bonifacekabaso/cassandra4:4.0-beta1

Then run your script

sh YOURSCRIPT.sh
