Peg hangs trying to create edits to Lulu default keymap layer 2

Using Peg (0.9.0) on macOS 12.6, whenever I switch to Keymap layer 2 on Lulu, whatever the next action is, Peg will become unresponsive and I have to Quit the application.

you can edit layer 2 but there's no GUI indication that you've selected that layer and it causes some weird behaviour. you can look at the link to the screen capture i took in the case i closed above.

I think it's something to do with the default code in main.py. As a workaround, I've replaced the line for layer 2 on both Lulu halves with full transparent keycodes (line below) and editing in Peg worked fine after that.
