UI text cut off unnecessarily

Describe the bug
A lot of the UI text is cut off unnecessarily, resulting in a lot of usability issues. Usually the last character is missing, so units are missing from post ages, the last digit is missing from follower/following counts, etc.

To Reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Open essentially any screen in the app
2. Look for incomplete text

Expected behavior

All text should be shown completely, where space is available.

Additional context

Note that this is with no changes to default fonts, text size, etc. Using accessibility features to make the font smaller doesn't resolve this issue.

Thanks, yep - I had this on my nearterm todos. I have no idea why android is acting like this! Hope I can figure it out

I switched my phone from its default font (OnePlus Slate) to Noto Sans (the only other option available), and it seems to resolve the issue for me.

Hi! This still happens to me on my Galaxy S22 on the default font. Changing fonts fixes the issue but it's odd that it's happening in the first place.
