Installation Instructions

Option A: Download Release Package

1. Go to https://github.com/blakkd/Hive-AI-Detector/releases
2. Download the latest .zip file
3. Extract the contents to a folder on your computer
4. Open Chrome and go to Manage Extensions
5. Enable Developer mode (toggle in top-right corner)
6. Click Load unpacked and select the extracted folder

Option B: Clone with Git

1. Open terminal/command prompt
2. Run: git clone https://github.com/anomalyco/Hive-AI-Detector.git
3. Navigate to the directory: cd Hive-AI-Detector
4. Open Chrome and go to Manage Extensions
5. Enable Developer mode (toggle in top-right corner)
6. Click Load unpacked and select the Hive-AI-Detector repository folder

How to Use the Extension

1. After installation, click on the puzzle icon of Chrome to show your installed extensions, and then the Hive AI Detector icon to customize it
2. To scan content, either:
   • Right-click directly on any text/image/video (30s max) on a webpage
   • Click the Hive logo (if you enabled it, I personnaly don't) to enter content via text box or file upload
3. View your result 😎

Notes and performance

• Text:
  • English only
  • AI-generated text is not always detected, especially for newer models
• Image:
  • Detection works great, even for latest models!
