CardDAV tab shows without detected resources

• I'm using the latest available DAVx⁵ version.

Steps to reproduce

Try creating an account at GMX.at with test credentials from wiki.

Actual result

CalDAV tab is "empty".

Expected result

Either the CalDAV tab should not show up at all or a message should inform the user about missing CardDAV capabilities / detection issues.
