Unable to change contents of cell on sample plate

Attempting to replace contents of cell on plate map with new contents doesn't work--it is set back to existing value

Rodolfo, sorry for taking so long to get back to you on this, and thank you for the screen capture video—it is super useful! I can’t reproduce this on maptest by just typing in NAs and then editing them … Since it resolved on its own after a while (eeeeew), it may as you say be related to database query issues. Still, I’m not ready to give up on reproducing it … did you paste in the whole platemap from the collaborator at once and then go back and edit the individual cells? If so, could you send me the platemap you pasted in and I’ll try that?

I’m also going to log this to the github repo as an issue.

I managed to reproduce the autocomplete issue. I wanted to change this NA values that our collaborator provided in his plate maps to blanks generated by Lab Control but I wasn’t able to edit the fields because it would autocomplete back to NA.

After some time passed I was able to edit the fields with no issues. I think Charlies suspicion of database query issues might be true.

Interesting.I tried reproducing this issue using the same computer as before but I haven't been successful.
Maybe Charlie is right and it was an isolated issue.

I pasted the whole plate map (plate 24) from a collaborators spreadsheet. Here's a link to it [from AB: link removed--see uploaded copy attached here]. I believe they edited the sample names since I tried plating these.
