Cosmosis is a spaceship simulator that explores the Hayden Planetarium's Digital Universe dataset. It was inspired by the Partiview visualization tool, with the goal of creating an accessible, engaging interface to stellar data using a game-like environment.
Cosmosis was built in 24 hours at the AMNH Hack the Universe 2014 event, winning the Visualization category.
