Devtools does this (it is a little buggy though). Would be a neat feature.

@forresto for some reason I thought this was going to be really easy to implement and I gave up after it took more than 5 minutes :). If you look in the devtools colorpicker shift up + down work well but shift left + right do some crazy stuff. Will have to revisit this, as I think it would be a really nifty feature.

@forresto the shift + cursor movement should be implemented now. It may not be completely ideal, but it will pick an axis based on the direction that has been most changed in the cursor activity. You can check it out on: http://bgrins.github.io/spectrum/ if you hold shift when moving. Let me know if you have any suggestions on alternative or extra behavior related to this feature, or if you think it doesn't feel right.
