A previous refactoring missed some locations the flags were renamed but not moved from the previous flower_ext_feats to the new flower_en_feats variable. This lead to the FLOW_MERGE and LAG features not being enabled. The helper function xdp_set_data_meta_invalid() must be called after setting xdp->data as it depends on it. The bug was introduced in the cited patch below, and cause the kernel to crash when using BPF helper bpf_xdp_adjust_head() on mlx5 driver. The ath10k/qmi.h header file contains a declaration for the function ath10k_qmi_register_service_notifier(). This function doesn't exist. Remove the declaration. Certain kernel functions (e.g. get_vtimer/set_vtimer) cause kernel panic when the stack is not 8-byte aligned. Currently JITed BPF programs may trigger this by allocating stack frames with non-rounded sizes and then being interrupted. Fix by using rounded fp->aux->stack_depth. This reverts commit de05842. There is no actual tipc_node refcnt leak as stated in the above commit. The refcnt is hold carefully for the case of an asynchronous decryption (i.e. -EINPROGRESS/-EBUSY and skb = NULL is returned), so that the node object cannot be freed in the meantime. The counter will be re-balanced when the operation's callback arrives with the decrypted buffer if any. In other cases, e.g. a synchronous crypto the counter will be decreased immediately when it is done. Now with that commit, a kernel panic will occur when there is no node found (i.e. n = NULL) in the 'tipc_rcv()' or a premature release of the node object. This commit solves the issues by reverting the said commit, but keeping one valid case that the 'skb_linearize()' is failed. When running with conntrack rules, the dropped overlap fragments may cause EPERM to be returned to sendto. Instead of completely failing, just ignore those errors and continue. If this causes packets with overlap fragments to be dropped as expected, that is okay. And if it causes packets that are expected to be received to be dropped, which should not happen, it will be detected as failure. The BUG message "BUG: using smp_processor_id() in preemptible [00000000] code" was observed for TCMU devices with kernel config DEBUG_PREEMPT. The message was observed when blktests block/005 was run on TCMU devices with fileio backend or user:zbc backend [1]. The commit 1130b49 ("scsi: target: tcm_loop: Use LIO wq cmd submission helper") triggered the symptom. The commit modified work queue to handle commands and changed 'current->nr_cpu_allowed' at smp_processor_id() call. The message was also observed at system shutdown when TCMU devices were not cleaned up [2]. The function smp_processor_id() was called in SCSI host work queue for abort handling, and triggered the BUG message. This symptom was observed regardless of the commit 1130b49 ("scsi: target: tcm_loop: Use LIO wq cmd submission helper"). To avoid the preemptible code check at smp_processor_id(), get CPU ID with raw_smp_processor_id() instead. The CPU ID is used for performance improvement then thread move to other CPU will not affect the code. In rm_device we're messing with the uuid of a device, so it makes sense to protect that here. However in doing that it pulls in a whole host of lockdep dependencies, as we call mnt_may_write() on the sb before we grab the uuid_mutex, thus we end up with the dependency chain under the uuid_mutex being added under the normal sb write dependency chain, which causes problems with loop devices. We don't need the uuid mutex here however. If we call btrfs_scan_one_device() before we scratch the super block we will find the fs_devices and not find the device itself and return EBUSY because the fs_devices is open. If we call it after the scratch happens it will not appear to be a valid btrfs file system. We do not need to worry about other fs_devices modifying operations here because we're protected by the exclusive operations locking. So drop the uuid_mutex here in order to fix the lockdep splat. A more detailed explanation from the discussion: We are worried about rm and scan racing with each other, before this change we'll zero the device out under the UUID mutex so when scan does run it'll make sure that it can go through the whole device scan thing without rm messing with us. We aren't worried if the scratch happens first, because the result is we don't think this is a btrfs device and we bail out. The only case we are concerned with is we scratch _after_ scan is able to read the superblock and gets a seemingly valid super block, so lets consider this case. Scan will call device_list_add() with the device we're removing. We'll call find_fsid_with_metadata_uuid() and get our fs_devices for this UUID. At this point we lock the fs_devices->device_list_mutex. This is what protects us in this case, but we have two cases here. 1. We aren't to the device removal part of the RM. We found our device, and device name matches our path, we go down and we set total_devices to our super number of devices, which doesn't affect anything because we haven't done the remove yet. 2. We are past the device removal part, which is protected by the device_list_mutex. Scan doesn't find the device, it goes down and does the if (fs_devices->opened) return -EBUSY; check and we bail out. Nothing about this situation is ideal, but the lockdep splat is real, and the fix is safe, tho admittedly a bit scary looking. The function obtain the next buffer without boundary check. We should return with I/O error code. The bug is found by fuzzing and the crash report is attached. Move the VMCB updates from avic_refresh_apicv_exec_ctrl() into avic_set_virtual_apic_mode() and invert the dependency being said functions to avoid calling avic_vcpu_{load,put}() and avic_set_pi_irte_mode() when "only" setting the virtual APIC mode. avic_set_virtual_apic_mode() is invoked from common x86 with preemption enabled, which makes avic_vcpu_{load,put}() unhappy. Luckily, calling those and updating IRTE stuff is unnecessary as the only reason avic_set_virtual_apic_mode() is called is to handle transitions between xAPIC and x2APIC that don't also toggle APICv activation. And if activation doesn't change, there's no need to fiddle with the physical APIC ID table or update IRTE. The nexthop code expects a 31 bit hash, such as what is returned by fib_multipath_hash() and rt6_multipath_hash(). Passing the 32 bit hash returned by skb_get_hash() can lead to problems related to the fact that 'int hash' is a negative number when the MSB is set. In the case of hash threshold nexthop groups, nexthop_select_path_hthr() will disproportionately select the first nexthop group entry. commit 31da94c ("riscv: add VMAP_STACK overflow detection") added support for CONFIG_VMAP_STACK. If overflow is detected, CPU switches to `shadow_stack` temporarily before switching finally to per-cpu `overflow_stack`. If two CPUs/harts are racing and end up in over flowing kernel stack, one or both will end up corrupting each other state because `shadow_stack` is not per-cpu. This patch optimizes per-cpu overflow stack switch by directly picking per-cpu `overflow_stack` and gets rid of `shadow_stack`. Following are the changes in this patch - Defines an asm macro to obtain per-cpu symbols in destination register. - In entry.S, when overflow is detected, per-cpu overflow stack is located using per-cpu asm macro. Computing per-cpu symbol requires a temporary register. x31 is saved away into CSR_SCRATCH (CSR_SCRATCH is anyways zero since we're in kernel). When l2tp tunnels use a socket provided by userspace, we can hit lockdep splats like the below when data is transmitted through another (unrelated) userspace socket which then gets routed over l2tp.
