input_datetime that shows only hours:minutes instead of hh:mm:ss

Thanks for the job done ! it's great !

I've an input_datetime in an multiple-entity-row card that shows hh:mm:ss

I don't care about the seconds. and if I double-click on the time I get a pop-up where I can only put the hours:minutes.
Is there a way to shows only the hours:minutes ? It would reduce the size of the card and increase the readibility.

I'm afraid not, that I'm aware of. It will require some complex date/time handling to change this in a good way..

If you use an entity card, the display shows only hh:mm

Is it possible to have the same display with a multiple-entity-row with a 'format' option ?

Yes, I understand what you want to achieve, but it is not as simple as just removing the last digits.. But I might have a way of handling this, will try to add it in the next release.

Updated the rendering of input_datetime in version 4.2.0, hopefully that should fix it.

I think you have to clear the browser cache, did you try in incognito mode ?
I didn't see any change until I did :)

Indeed, there is a cache issue.

But it would be interesting to know the default option and to be able to continue to display on 4 digits to keep the alignment...
