Unable to receive messages

The problem

I installed the HA addon running in "native" mode. I am able to send messages without problems.
From the protocol I can see that the receive calls are made:

But I don't receive any message that I send.

From the HA log I only see this message, which I guess only indicates that the received message is empty:

I use this configuration in the configuration.yaml:

And tried to trigger a test automation, which unfortunately never triggers:

Running HA on Homeassistant Yellow using a Raspberry CM4 with NVMe

I tried a lot of different configurations, but couldn't get it running. In the meantime I found a work around that works awesome: https://community.home-assistant.io/t/signal-messenger-using-received-message/858118

While not as HA addon, i did face similar problem when running older version of docker. Updating it to latest (0.92) fixed that issue.
