Libretro has experimental microphone support.
Hatari unfortunately seems to just open the microphone device at boot and listen to it forever, which isn't ideal, but I don't see an easy way to prevent this if the feature is enabled. MIDI has the problem that we can't open/close the device in response to core options because it gets checked at init.
Could use some test program suggestions. WINREC15 seems like a fairly easy test program, though the shareware nag pause screens really slow things down. It requires more than 1MB of RAM to run.
