With latest addition of Virtual Disks in netbox 3.7 and its implementation in this project in #364, I think it would be great to have the name of the Storage Policy in vCenter of the specific virtual disk as a tag on the object. The Virtual Disks in netbox do have tagging support already.
This would allow filtering individual virtual disks based on the assigned Storage Policy, which can reflect e.g. the RAID level on vSAN/vVOLs or if a disk is encrypted. This might come very handy together with plugin netbox-lists.
