Tool won’t authenticate on remote connection

I often use tools like basecamp from a Linux box on my local network.

This works with some tools like Claude Code which, once I’ve opened the link and accepted the request, provide a link to manually use if the connection being authenticated is not the local system.

However, with basecamp, it just hangs at “Waiting for authentication…” and doesn’t provide me with a fallback such as entering the callback code.

Perhaps the “Waiting” prompt could also allow us to paste in a response to complete authentication on a remote system.

Good one. Really needs the OAuth device code flow. Will work around it by prompting to copy/paste the redirect URI so we can parse the auth code and complete token exchange.
