Is this package supposed to mutate the input objects?

I just spent a few hours debugging a bunch of stuff and realized that calling this function was making both objects return empty. Is this the intentional behavior?

First thanks for even trying this library out!

When I first made it i haven't really dug into edge cases, I have just tried making it as fast as possible. One may say it was intentional, but I guess it is not the best option. I will surely take a look into this and remove object mutation.

@derekstavis i believe it is now fixed. I will publish fixed version to NPM once i get access to it :) It will be v1.1.0
