Ability to define center of map

This is the default load for my map. I would like to increase the zoom level a bit and center the map over the mainland USA for default load. Is this possible with Leaflet?

I know that I can change the zoom level, but I don't see a way to manually select the default "centering" point.

Has this been discussed before?

So, this is a view, right? Because Geofield instances have a "center" setting.

What you can always do is to hook in, either hook_leaflet_map_prebuild_alter() or hook_leaflet_map_settings_alter() should do the trick.

Possibly in Drupal. If there's no issue here in this repo, then nobody asked that before with the Backdrop variant. 😉

Yes, this is a view, because I want to put several hundred locations on the map. I believe that would require a view. Thanks for the code suggestion, we'll give that a try.

Yes, makes sense.

By default views attempt to center to the viewport of all items. That's quite flexible, especially if the view has exposed filters.
But hooks can always adapt.
