-> jbake -s JBake v2.3.2 [http://jbake.org] INFO org.jbake.launcher.JettyServer - Serving out contents of: [output] on http://localhost:8820/ INFO org.jbake.launcher.JettyServer - (To stop server hit CTRL-C)
Note that the server does neither generate nor reload changes from the filesystem. It offers a pure preview option.
Apart of blog entries the content on the website is generated out of documents located in https://github.com/babun/babun/tree/master/babun-doc/adoc.
If you want to make changes please make it there and run the update.sh
script (see deployment instructions).
Please note that a new root document (not included asciidoc file) needs to have a header with metadata information. Standard webpages are of type=page
.
Place a new asciidoc file into pagesource/content/blog_posts
and add the following header into it:
title=POST_TITLE date=POST_DATE type=post tags=blog, asciidoc status=published author=YOUR_NAME ~~~~~~
There is no need to include blog files. Each file of type=post
will be attached to the blog page automatically.
To regenerate and deploy the website to github pages do the following:
$ cd pagesource/scripts $ chmod 755 update.sh bake.sh $ ./update.sh
This will load the most recent changes from https://github.com/babun/babun/tree/master/babun-doc/adoc
Next execute the bake script to regenerate html
files.
$ ./bake.sh
Please check if the process completed successfully and test your changes before checking in. The execution should end with the following message:
[INFO] Executing post JBake checks [INFO] Checking JBake rendering [INFO] Checking JBake status [INFO] Baking completed
