Search for any country or U.S. state, visualize it on a map, and learn some basic geographic, demographic, and cultural information
This Flask-based web application creates POST and GET requests based on the user-entered location, calls the Wolfram|Alpha Short Answers API, and then displays the location on the map alongside the information. The API calls are written in Python while the front-end displays the data in real-time with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
This website was ideated, created, and designed from scratch by Ayush Garg and Brayden Miller during the 2-day Hackathon PennApps XXI.
This project won the award for the Best Use of Wolfram Technology.
