Updates on this request? I'm sure I am not the only one who was baffled by the amount of time spent on CPU when running this example of Multi-GPU usage. |

Before Multi-GPU took over 5 minutes while maxed out. Most likely due to changes in how TensorFlow implemented tf.variable.
Additionally moved future import to the top of the file to allow build to occur.
