Description
Describe the bug
I'm running the AWS Diagram MCP with Docker MCP Toolkit and Cursor. When trying to generate a diagram both the agent and docker logs shows success but no diagram is outputed.
Here is the final output of the container:
{"jsonrpc":"2.0","id":12,"result":{"content":[{"type":"text","text":"{\"status\": \"success\", \"path\": \"/tmp/generated-diagrams/patch_management_architecture.png.png\", \"message\": \"Diagram generated successfully at /tmp/generated-diagrams/patch_management_architecture.png.png\"}"}],"is-error":false}}
In the end the folder i s empty and the agent believes the image is correctly copied to my project folder.
Expected Behavior
Output generated diagram to my project folder or error response.
Current Behavior
No generated picture and no errors.
Reproduction Steps
- Install MCP Toolkit in Docker
- Activate AWS Diagram
- Link to Cursor
- Activate MCP in Cursor
- Prompt for diagram in project with AWS resources (in my case Terraform)
Possible Solution
It's possible that this is a problem with Dockers MCP Toolkit or perhaps lack of permission in the container.
I would at least purpose implement checking for the generated files before responding.
