Action query empty when selected from Grid view

Describe the bug

In Grid view, checking a record and running an Action causes 'query' to be empty.

Running the same in List view works perfectly.

Expected behavior & Actual behavior

'query' should contain an array of selected records.

I've been looking into this recently to try and help out and I think i've tracked down a little but a bit stuck.

I think the issue is that action_params is empty on line 73 of actions_controller.rb in the find_records_from_resource_ids method.

But i'm struggling to identify why that is. I've checked the action_params method but gettinga bit confused as to what is happening there.

Thanks for digging into this!

I did some debugging on my end and noticed that the updateLinks method doesn’t get invoked when a checkbox is toggled in the grid view.

This method is crucial, as it's responsible for updating the action links' URLs to include the relevant query params, necessary for correctly reconstructing the query while rendering the action’s show view (modal) later on.
