Thanks for your input!
It appears that the AdminLTE theme had a major makeover which caused assetic to fail. I have included the missing files in the bower config and changed the bundle config accordingly.

But i didn't take a deeper look into the theme changes so far, but the base template should work again.

The theme itself is now configured to be another bower dependency with a specific version constraint and will no longer be pulled/cloned directly.

I think I found the issue, you are using case insensitive filesystem for your testings, like hfsplus (OSX), vfat/ntfs (Windows). So it's broken on Linux. will be submitting PR with a proposed fix!

Since the Theme itself is now configured as a bower dependency, you should re-run avanzu:admin:fetch-vendor -u which will install the theme with the root directory in lowercase letters.
At least, that's how it looks on my system now.

as i can't get it work unless i patch with #28, and that's already third system. i've cleared cleared cache, fetched vendors, etc. it keeps dying until i patch with #28

the files are using uppercase letters (while your code uses all lowercase) in my sourcetree:

Hi there. Wrong file paths are causing havoc in our application as well. So far i've bypassed it using symlinks, but merge of #28 is definitely preferable.

since adminLTE is now integrated using bower the root folder name is actually all lowercase. Tested on several linux distros and osx.
The naming issue is most likely due to the previous installation method using regular git pull / clone.
Please try to remove all contents in $PROJECT_ROOT/vendor/avanzu/admin-theme-bundle/Resources/public/vendor and reinstall using app/console avanzu:admin:install.

please pay attention. the name casing issue is with files INSIDE the root folder. root folder itself yes is lowercase!

and, OSX's hfs+ is case INSENSITIVE by default.
