Plans to add pid outputting, graceful restart, and others from LearnBoost/cluster

I like the API and features available in the LearnBoost/cluster package.  Do you have any plans to add similar features or would you be open to such patches?  Would you want a similar api to theirs or would you want things less pluggable and more built-in?
