Accepting a suggestion in the editor removes everything in front of the cursor #1352
Accepting a suggestion removes everything in front of the cursor:
firefox_2024-11-20_11-52-39.mp4
This happens on Tab and typing . or ( when a suggested item is already typed. I'm using Firefox on Windows but my colleague who uses Chrome can reproduce that too.
This bug does not occur when anything other than default is selected.(Edit: Currently, in 12/10, this workaround is available for selections other than default, x64.)
Reacted by Ilja Nosik, ozdotnet, juner, Tan90909090, Antoine Blanchet, aka-nse, Serj and Ihor Kuzmychov
Thanks for reporting -- can you try again and see if this is still happening?
I was able to reproduce it, but for some reason it was only happening in one environment (stable). I did a redeployment and this issue is no longer happening in my testing. However since I wasn't able to reproduce in other environments, and redeployed with no changes, I am not confident that the root cause is resolved.

Seems to affect C# only. Does not happen with F# or VB.
