I'm Andrew Jones and this is my member request for rank II.
My primary work focus is on
ink!, however I have been contributing to Substrate since 2018. See my commit history there. My most significant recent contribution to a core repository was the integration of type information into the metadata paritytech/substrate#8615. Much of the work there was adding features to
scale-info, of which I am a primary maintainer.I have a good understanding of the FRAME v2 macros having worked closely with @thiolliere while I was working the metadata migration and he was authoring the new macros.
In addition I created and am the top contributor to
subxtwhich is a Rust equivalent topolkadot.jsfor remote interaction with Substrate based chains. Indeed this was the origin of my motivation to improve the metadata.
